Where does Optimus Mobile Tyres actually work?
Potter's Bar is the base. We cover Brookmans Park, South Mimms, Cuffley, Northaw, Little Heath, Hadley Wood, High Barnet, New Barnet, Cockfosters, Oakwood, Whetstone, Borehamwood, Shenley, Welham Green, Elstree, Enfield, Crews Hill and Cheshunt. EN6 is home ground. A postcode just off that list — send it and we will say yes or no before the van moves.
Are you open after midnight?
The number is answered around the clock. Night is for a car that cannot sit until morning — a blow-out, a dead battery in a dark car park, a recovery off the M25. A planned driveway swap can wait for a daytime slot if you prefer.
How do I get a price?
Call 020 4634 0997 or WhatsApp the same number. Postcode, vehicle, what failed. You get a figure before we roll. No extra 'attendance' sprung on you after the wheel is off.
Do you fit a brand I name?
If we can get it and it suits the car, yes. If that exact wall is not on the van we tell you the nearest match. We do not pretend a no-name is a Michelin.
I am on the M25. Where should I wait?
Hard shoulder: hazards, as far left as you can, behind the barrier if there is one. South Mimms and J23 / J24 are familiar pins. On an EN6 side street, stay with the car if it is safe. Give us a landmark, not only a what3words if you do not have it.
When do I pay?
When the work is done. Card is normal. Say on the booking if you need a receipt for an insurer or a fleet.
Is a kerbside fit a real job?
The wheel comes off properly, nuts go back to spec, and we refuse a repair that would not hold. If the rim is cracked or the spot is unsafe, we recover instead of guessing.
Are you a national call centre?
No. Optimus Mobile Tyres is a Potter's Bar van. You are speaking to people who drive EN6 and the M25 slips, not a script for the whole of the South East.
