Usual questions
Will you damage the alloy?
We use the right sockets and extractors. A seized or rounded nut can still mark a rim. We stop and talk if it looks like that kind of fight.
Can you do it if I am on a side road?
Yes, if the spot is safe to jack. A live M25 hard shoulder is a different call — we may recover rather than work in traffic.
Is this a separate job?
Often it is part of the tyre visit. If you only need the nut off so someone else can work, say so and we price that.
