A tyre job only works if the car can sit still and be jacked. If it cannot, we recover. Home, a garage you name, or off the motorway first. You get the destination agreed before the truck moves.
On the job
- Off the M25 / A1(M) when staying put is unsafe
- Home, a named garage, or a holding spot — you choose
- We will not pretend a wrecked wheel is a five-minute fit
- Cars and light vans; we say no to work we cannot lift
Usual questions
Can you take it to any garage?
Within a sensible radius of Potter's Bar, yes. A cross-country dump at 2am may wait until we can do it safely. We price the destination on the call.
Is this a national recovery club?
No. Optimus is a Potter's Bar outfit. You are not in a UK-wide queue with a script.
What if I only need a tyre?
Then we fit a tyre. Recovery is for when fitting is unsafe or the car is finished.
