N7 service area

Holloway Road is the A1 running through the middle of inner London, and it behaves like a trunk road pretending to be a high street. Four lanes in places, bus lanes, a university, and a junction at Nag's Head that never really clears.

There is nowhere to stop on it. That is the single most important thing to know if a tyre fails here. Get into the first side street that is safe and legal, then call — trying to work at the kerb on the Holloway Road is not something we will ask you to do.

Caledonian Road is narrower and slower, with a railway on one side and terraces on the other. Parking is permit-only along its whole length.

Matches at the Emirates close roads and change the parking rules for a wide area around Drayton Park. As with anywhere near a stadium, say so on the call and we will plan around it.

Get off the main road first

A flat tyre driven at walking pace for a hundred metres to reach a safe side street is a trade worth making. The tyre is already finished; the alternative is working beside four lanes of moving traffic. Hazards on, slow, and take the first turning.

N7: give us the road and the tyre size

Call and tell us where the vehicle is standing and what is on the sidewall. If the size has gone with the tyre, the make, model and year will do. We confirm what we are bringing before the van moves.
