EN2 service area
EN2 runs from a town centre to open countryside inside three miles, and the work changes completely as it does.
Enfield Town itself is pedestrianised in the middle with a one-way system around it, so anything at Palace Gardens or on Church Street means finding a legal place to put the van before anything else happens. Chase Farm Hospital, on the Ridgeway, is easier — there is space, and the calls there tend to come from staff at shift change.
North of the Ridgeway the district empties out. Crews Hill is a run of nurseries and garden centres on Cattlegate Road with heavy trade traffic; Botany Bay, Clay Hill and Whitewebbs are lanes with blind bends and a lot of grit dragged onto the tarmac. Nails and screws off the nursery yards are a genuine and recurring cause of punctures on that stretch.
M25 J24 sits at the top of the district, which is what makes Crews Hill quick for us despite feeling remote.

Screws and nursery traffic
A screw or nail in the central three quarters of the tread, straight in and under 6mm, is normally a proper plug-and-patch repair from the inside — not a plug from the outside and not an automatic new tyre. If it has gone into the shoulder or the sidewall, it is a replacement. We tell you which before we start.
EN2: give us the road and the tyre size
Call and tell us where the vehicle is standing and what is on the sidewall. If the size has gone with the tyre, the make, model and year will do. We confirm what we are bringing before the van moves.
