EN4 service area
Four places, one road holding them together. The A111 Cockfosters Road runs from the M25 at J24 down to the Piccadilly line terminus, and almost everything in EN4 hangs off it.
Trent Park sits on the eastern side of that road and Hadley Wood on the western, and the two could not be less alike to work in. Trent Park means a car park, a long entrance drive and plenty of room to jack. Hadley Wood means private roads, gravel drives and gateposts — a lot of the damage we see there is kerb and gatepost work on low-profile tyres rather than anything picked up on a carriageway.
East Barnet is different again: a valley bottom on the A110, a small parade, and a lot of residential parking on cambered roads. The camber matters when a wheel comes off, so we bring our own boards rather than trusting a slope.
Cockfosters station car park is a regular call. A commuter comes back to a flat, and the vehicle has not moved for eleven hours.

Station car parks
A tyre that goes down while the vehicle is parked all day is usually a slow leak from a nail or a corroded rim seat, not a blow-out. Both are often repairable. Send the registration and the level of the car park and we can work on it where it stands.
