Industrial estates, a trunk road built for lorries, and a lot of vehicles that earn their keep. That is EN3.
Mollison Avenue is the spine. It is wide, fast and lined with yards, and the debris load on it is heavier than anything else in this territory — banding, steel offcuts, dropped fixings. Brimsdown Industrial Estate and Innova Park generate most of the commercial calls we get in this district, and most of those are vans and light trucks rather than cars.
The A1010 Hertford Road runs parallel and does the residential half: Enfield Highway, Enfield Wash, Freezywater. Tight, busy, buses, and side roads with speed cushions that punish an already soft tyre.
Enfield Lock and Enfield Island Village sit out east across the navigation, past Ordnance Road, and take longer to reach than the map suggests because there are only so many ways over the water.
