Industry, retail sheds and the North Circular. N18 is where the heaviest traffic in this territory meets the worst road surfaces.
The Lea Valley Trading Estate, Montagu Industrial Estate and the EcoPark run articulated and rigid vehicles all day, and the roads serving them carry loads they were not built for. Surface break-up at the edges is constant, and so is the debris that comes off it.

Loaded car, tight kerb
