N13 service area
One place in this district, and it is a busy one. Palmers Green is Green Lanes at its densest — shops on both sides for the best part of a mile, buses every couple of minutes, and parking pressure that does not let up.
Nearly all of the work here is at the kerb on a controlled bay, and the limiting factor is space rather than difficulty. We need clear ground beside the wheel and somewhere legal to put the van, and on Green Lanes itself that often means working from a side street with the vehicle moved twenty yards.
The failures are urban ones. Screws and glass off the high road, kerb damage from squeezing into a tight bay, and valve stems that have perished on cars doing nothing but short journeys.
Palmers Green is close band from base through Enfield or Winchmore Hill.

Tight bays and clear ground
If the car is parked hard against a kerb on a busy road, the safest thing is to move it into a side turning before we lift it. Working on the traffic side of a bus route is avoidable in most cases, and avoiding it is the right call.
N13: give us the road and the tyre size
Call and tell us where the vehicle is standing and what is on the sidewall. If the size has gone with the tyre, the make, model and year will do. We confirm what we are bringing before the van moves.
