Waltham Cross sits where the A121 crosses the A10, and that junction shapes the whole district. Traffic funnels through it toward M25 J25, and it is busy from early until late.

Nearside front damage
If the nearside front tyre has been kerbed, check the rear on the same side before you drive on. Cutting a corner tight usually clips both. A rear tyre with a scuffed shoulder and no visible cord is often still legal, but it is worth knowing about now rather than on a motorway later.
