N10 service area
Muswell Hill is on a hill, which sounds obvious and is the whole point. Every approach to the Broadway is a climb, and every departure is a descent with a roundabout at the bottom.
Brake and tyre wear are both higher here than the mileage suggests, and uneven wear across an axle shows up sooner. If one front tyre is visibly more worn than the other on a car that lives here, that is usually alignment rather than bad luck.
The Broadway itself is a curved parade with angled parking and a lot of short stops. Kerb scuffing is routine. Muswell Hill Road, running down past Highgate Wood, is narrow, tree-lined and shaded, so the surface stays wet long after the rest of the district has dried.
Two places, both middle distance from base.

One tyre wearing faster than its pair
Wear on the inner edge of one front tyre usually means the tracking is out, and it will do the same thing to the replacement. Fitting a new tyre without correcting that is money spent twice. We will point it out when we see it rather than fit and say nothing.
N10: give us the road and the tyre size
Call and tell us where the vehicle is standing and what is on the sidewall. If the size has gone with the tyre, the make, model and year will do. We confirm what we are bringing before the van moves.
