Highgate is one place in this district and one of the more awkward pieces of ground in the whole territory to work on.
The village sits at the top of a long climb, the streets around the High Street are narrow, cobbled in places and lined with listed frontages, and there is essentially no off-street parking. Anything we do here happens at the kerb, in a controlled bay, on a slope, with traffic wanting to get past.
That is manageable if we know about it in advance. What we need on the call is the street, the nearest house number, and whether the car is facing up or down the hill.
Most of the calls here are punctures and kerb damage from the tight junctions rather than anything dramatic. Middle distance from base, down the A1.

Narrow streets and listed frontages
We bring cones and work with the van shielding the job from traffic. Where a street is genuinely single-file, we would rather agree a spot fifty metres away than block a road for half an hour. Tell us how tight it is when you call and it gets sorted before we set off.
N6: give us the road and the tyre size
Call and tell us where the vehicle is standing and what is on the sidewall. If the size has gone with the tyre, the make, model and year will do. We confirm what we are bringing before the van moves.
